Our Vehicles
At the current time we run a fleet of 11 vehicles ranging from Ford Galaxys to front line vehicles.
Renault Masters

The newest vehicles in our fleet come complete with blacked out windows, 2 stretchers, wheelchair and carry chair facilities. Oxygen is piped throughout the vehicle. Electrical hook ups are fitted to allow for the transportation of incubators and pumping equipment. Access is gained through the rear doors (via a fold away ramp, which is stowed inside the doors when in motion) and a sliding side door. A crew of two is on board at all times.
LDV Maxus

The LDV is another new addition to our fleet it comes with blacked out windows and is capable of taking two wheelchairs and sitting patients, it has an electric hoist in the rear for easy access on and off the vehicle.
Ford Transits

There are 2 of these vehicles in our fleet. They come equipped with one stretcher and wheelchair on board, blacked out windows and piped oxygen throughout the vehicle. Rear and side door access (rear door ramped again) 2 very comfortable vehicles, ideally suited for long distance work. These vehicles can be manned by a single crew person for certain types of work.
Ford Galaxy / Mercedes Vito

These are the smallest vehicles in our fleet. They are primarily used for long distance work or where comfort and smoothness is required. All vehicles have blacked out windows and both carry a single stretcher. The Vito can take wheelchairs in the rear and can also be fitted with seats for car work or psychiatric work if required. These vehicles can be manned by a single crew person for certain types of work.
Ford Galaxy
This vehicle is unmarked, with the exception of an Ambulance sticker. Its role is one of rapid response. It carries all the equipment that may be needed by any crew in an emergency or when having a problem. This vehicle is on standby to back up any crew in difficulty.
Suzuki Grand Vitara

One of the latest additions to the fleet is the 4x4, this vehicle is on call 24/7. It carries a large selection of equipment, including defib, resus and medical equipment, it is used for staff requiring back up, or to meet any medical emergency.
We cover many events, this is when this vehicle comes into its own, especially field events and obviously will be ideal in bad weather.
