About Us

After serving in Her Majesties Forces for five years, working for the Fire Service and volunteering in both the St John Ambulance and The British Red Cross Societies, I saw a gap in the market providing hospital transportation and decided I could help to fill that gap. So on the 1st July 1988 West Country Private Ambulance Service was formed.

That was then, I started off with just one member of staff, using a converted Citroen Safari Estate car and working mainly from one local hospital. As you will see the company has expanded vastly since then to the company that you see now.

As a very busy company, we are available for anyone who wishes to travel in a secure and comfortable vehicle. Our services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

The company currently services three private hospitals in the local area. We have contracts with local NHS Hospitals as well as being available for any patient in the private sector who wishes to use our services.

 

We are members of the British Ambulance Association (The BAA) and of the National Association of Private Ambulance Services (NAPAS)
